This is a painting (from a freeze shot of a well-known stylist) completed soon after the pandemic started. Everyone around me looked pretty shaggy, as people were avoiding barbers. I had already been long tired of looking for a good barber, only to find, when found, were soon overbooked. The quest never ended...
Until the pandemic forced me to get creative. Now, every 2-3 weeks, I set up my webcam behind me on an adjustable arm, and with my laptop and a mirror on a stand, I go to work. What took about 20 minutes at the start, now takes 10 minutes (not including the shower I'm able to take immediately after)
