Gabriel says, "the guitar player strums along, not in the least disconcerted by shapes and objects having gone a little bit awry. He really ought to get the windows fixed, but with the westerly wall of the room gone, the view is rather nice. You might think he needs to plug his electric guitar in, or indeed string the instrument, but you'd be wrong on both accounts. His eyes are closed and open at the same time, and perhaps that's the best way to go about things."
