Original artwork description:

Grape Juice (2023) is a piece about the overindulging and overconsumption we each take part in, in modern day society. Although wine is the poison of choice to illustrate the theme of the artwork, the message applies to all modes of consumerism today - alcohol, food, shopping, dating, the list goes on. There is too much choice in every aspect of our daily lives which results in an increasingly unsatisfied population.

"The grass is always greener elsewhere" is more present than ever before - where we once found happiness in the simple things, today this is no more. We are constantly on the lookout for more, we want bigger, better, shinier - what we don't realise is that at this rate, we'll never be truly happy.

This artwork was made of mixed mediums, including: acrylics, charcoal, paste, pencils, pens and gold dust. Comes framed and mounted as seen.

Materials used:

Acrylics, charcoal, paste, pencils, pens and gold dust.
