Question for the artist?

Artist's description:

'Gotta Serve Somebody' is a graphite pencil drawing on Strathmore CP paper. I was drawn to the reference photograph of this colourful looking man, particularly the hair and skin tone which I thought would lend themselves well to graphite pencil work. It needed something else to complete the composition and I had the idea of the Indian elephant and portrayed them both perhaps returning from a hard day's work. The title offers the viewer something to think about. Does it refer to the Indian man or the Asian elephant.

Measuring approximately 16.5 inches x 11.75 inches, it is presented in a white mount within a silk finished charcoal black frame with bright silver sight edge to a total size of approximately 24 x 19.5 inches, ready to hang.

Materials used:

Graphite pencils on Strathmore CP paper.
