This is a recent linocut print of the Rialto Theatre in Ottawa, built in 1931, closed in 1979 and demolished in 1991. My drawings for this print were based on a photo used with the kind permission of the City of Ottawa Archives.
Although most of my work is based on nature (landscapes, animals, birds and plants) I am also interested in chronicling some of Ottawa's interesting and less well-known buildings, that are at risk of disappearing or already gone.
