An original watercolour by Christine Callum McInally. One of a series of paintings made during a sailing trip on the west coast of Scotland. The shimmering light in a tiny uninhabited island caught my eye. Luckily it stayed for long enough to capture with my watercolours. It has a calm and relaxing feel.
This little painting is deceptively simply but I think conveys both a sense of depth and the dappled light of a cloudy and bright day typical of the west coast.
It is framed with glass and a lovely gold frame.
