Original artwork description:
A rich, dark oil painting of a verdant greed jacket, eerily floating in black space. The folds of the fabric create deep shadows that make the jacket look as though it is being worn, while the soft pearlescent clasps reflect gently in the muted light. This painting was inspired by my amateur fashion design practice - I designed and sewed the jacket and then felt the urge to make a painting of it! To create this work I used many layers of richly-hued paint to give it that dark, smooth appearance.
