I think this is my latest favourite paper. It’s a convenient size, just the right absorbency for this raw paper, and a thick paper. And the colors stand out brilliantly.
Hindu mystics. Another fascinating subject, also visually fascinating. I want to reinterpret this colourful human display in an abstract way. I hope to do a few more paintings with this theme.
The close up picture allows you a better feel for the texture and brush stroke of the painting. Then there’s the work in progress, me in the studio working on the painting, and photographing the painting.
