A small figure study, just under 10" square. It is gestural and colorful with a front figure and a group in the background.
I love how smaller printings can capture a brief moment in time, or a quick flash of memory. They're light and bright on their own, but their size makes them work well as a modular display when grouped. For art fairs I would build displays that allowed 6 pieces at a time to be arranged for color, content or figurative placement. Just like with the interpretive elements of my work, I enjoy the input of the viewer in how the work is arranged.
