This artwork is informed by the tiny islands that sit at the mouth of the Dee Estuary. This small group of tidal islands are called Little Eye, Middle Eye and the largest island Hilbre.

This painting is inspired by visits to these tiny islands across the sands. The Islands are cut off from the mainland by the tide for up to four hours out of every twelve. Strong winds can bring the tide in early.

The sides are painted so no need for framing. It has been signed on the side and fitted with chord ready to hang.
