Wolf with a blue sweater (Loup au pull bleu), Wolfie, is a wolf sculpture with a long, trumpet-shaped snout, questioning light-blue eyes and a pretty blue sweater.

He's part of the CalbinoOz family, sculptures made from natural calabash grown in the south of France.

This calabash has been dried and emptied of its contents, seeds and skins, so that it can be exported worldwide. As a result, it is hollow and much lighter than tree wood.

Like many of CalbinoOz's sculptures, this wolf wears a small knitted sweater made one by one from shaped and patterned surfine wood cellulose, then painted in several layers of different shades to give a mottled, slightly ceramic effect. The paint is then protected with marine varnish (but this work should not be displayed outdoors, as it would be damaged).

Materials: dried natural calabash wood, surfine wood pulp, acrylic paint, water-soluble oil paint, blown glass, marine varnish.
