Original artwork description:

There is a fragility in the curl of the body. Tucked in. Hiding her modesty as they used to say. A beautiful rounded shape which if carved would be so tactile. Henry Moore would have liked this pose. Smoothing off the points of the elbows, the flatness of the top of the head.

Red, yellow, purple, green, black and white pastels on a green sugar paper 30 x 42 cm (12 x 16").

Mounting/Mat Suggestion: An image is included of how the piece could look if float-mounted or put behind mountboard(s) [in the US known as mats] before framing.

It will either be rolled for delivery (glassine inside to protect the drawing) or wrapped in glassine and sandwiched in window cardboard (so the pastel is not smudged) depending on where it is being sent to.

Materials used:

Conte Pastel
