This is the first painting in the ongoing series "aquatica".
What I would like to express is the solid / liquid contrast.
The female body is depicted naked, free, in the act of "dissolving" in its various meanings: to eliminate the bonds that prevent movement, to stretch and relax its physical matter, to free itself from rigid bonds, to untangle mental knots, to let go, to free oneself from obligations and limits.
Ultimately, the transition of the body, mind and soul from the solid state to the liquid state.
