Fluidity
Every painting is such a journey, and this one took me on a ride with a strong contrast between dark moments and beaming light. I paint standing up mostly so when it was time to do the mark-making. It was Zen-like to sit and feel each stroke. The light may be the primary focus, but you can get lost in the harmony of the strokes and movement of color.
Fluidity is an original acrylic painting on unstretched canvas that is part of my continuing Indigenous series.
