Original artwork description:

'Flooded Pond' was painted in the New Forest at the end of autumn 2019.
The wet winter had flooded many lawns and ponds in the New Forest. A lawn in the New Forest is a natural open space of grass mowed by the grazing animal that roam across the open woodlands and heaths. The rich colours of the back ground oaks contrast with the reflected sky in the water. The flooded green grass blades float on the water and the ponies add a gentle movement to the scene.
The frame is modern and is plain grey with a white inner edge.

Materials used:

Oil paint
