This painting is a memory from the day of St. Nicolas (6th of December in Bulgaria) that we shared with fishermen in the town of Ahtopol. Winter is a dead season for the fishermen, a season when their boats stay berthed at the port. But the St. Nicolas' day is also their professional feast and they celebrate it properly.
