This is an original abstract painting created with oils and resin with glass, crystals and texture elements, measuring 14x14 inches. This artwork was created with various painting techniques, including the fluid oil technique. The artwork draws its influence from cold, frozen land with volcano eruptions. There are various shimmering crystal caves created with glass, a turbulent emerald-green ocean, and icy, snowy land. The perfect mood right in time for the winter holiday season. I live in the coastal region of Florida and at Christmas time I always long for the snowy, wintery landscape. This is the time of year when my inspiration switches from the tropical to the cold and snowy mood. This is a sculptural painting with a lot of texture. when you run your fingers on it you can feel the ridges, the caves, the glassy ocean.
The painting has been finished with a double layer of protective varnish and comes ready to hang with brass hooks on the back. No framing is required.
