Coyote fences are an iconic site in Northern New Mexico made up of the branches from cedar or pinon and wired together to keep the coyotes out. The fence sits along a gravel road near an old bean field; one of the old neighborhoods in Santa Fe

Another of the painting-a-day series of small watercolors. Small watercolor paintings using quick strokes with a writing brush on rough watercolor paper. Signed on front, 10" x 14" image size, matted and ready to frame.
