Original artwork description:

I painted this picture in 2020. It reflected my feelings caused by the latest events in Russia - new amendments to the Constitution, zero presidential deadlines and total disgust with the opinion of society about the dirty games of the country's government. Now all these events seem insignificant compared to the gloom in which Ukraine and Russia plunged. Despite the lack of any significant results, a huge number of Russian people resisted the authorities, came out with slogans and staged strikes. But this was not enough, because the president remained in his place and he continues to destroy his own people and people of Ukraine with his crazy actions.
My picture is that even in the darkest of times it is necessary to fight for your life, to fight against a system that endangers it and does not allow anyone to extinguish the light of your soul.

Materials used:

Tempera, pastel paper, acrylic, colored pencils
