One of my new handmixed gouache paintings, done at my recent residency at the Baltic Sea, where we had a lot of changing lights, water, wind, clouds...

This painting shows lots of thin shadowy layers, giving it a dreamy but still powerful atmosphere. The colors are handmixed and some extra silver pigments add some special sparkle when hit by direct light, just like you can have it at the sea. All the very thin fluid layers of colors lead to a certain markmaking and leave traces on the canvas that are important for my work. There are lots of details to discover!

50x50 cm, handmixed gouache, eggtempera and some silver pigments on gallery wrapped canvas, sides partly painted, hook on the back. Signed on the back and Certificate of Authenticity.

Comes unframed, the frames are just examples what it could look like. If you want to frame, the painting will like white, dark grey, black, silver, golden frames!
