Artwork description:

The third of a series of hand coloured etchings inspired by the rust and peeling paint on old boats on the East Anglian Coast and also influenced by my interest in rock formations and strata. The original etching plate was cut into three sections and rearranged. The resulting plates have been further cut into eroded shapes before printing. Each print is hand watercoloured so all prints in the series vary slightly and are therefore unique.

Materials used:

Zinc plate etching printed on Somerset acid free paper and watercoloured by hand
