This picture of Keller and Sullivan has been rediscovered after 120 years.
Helen Keller (1880-1936) was an American civic activist who overcame the obstacles of being blind and deaf. Annie Sullivan (1866-1936) was Helen’s teacher.

They met when Helen was 7 years old and lived together for 50 years. Helen looks so beautiful, like an angel, even though she couldn’t see the flames of the sun or hear the sound of the waves.

This floral work is meant to preserve historic moments of heartwarming stories that impacted the world. The red carnation symbolizes admiration, and its dark red color represents deep love and affection.
