This also is one of a series under the same title. From time to time I return to a familiar and loved subject and produce seascapes. This one is a memory painting. At one time we would visit Saunton sands - an area of wide open space, dunes and golden sand, a few miles from home. The tide goes out quite a way and the surf is often good whilst the sunsets are amazing. Although we don't visit quite so much now, the memories and the feel of space and colour remain.
