This piece is the beginning of the 2015 summer collection. The theme of this summer will be iredecent colors. There is a certain magic behind colors that pop in the presence of light that cannot be replicated by anything else. The concept behind this piece is both wedding and faith based. The image is an Indian woman looking down in her head vail. The goal of this image was to capture the radiating spirit behind the Hindu culture. They have many deep set traditions and roots that cannot be broken by any means. This to me is both a blessing and a curse, for it keeps you constricted. But this devolution is truly outer worldly and is a radiating characteristic. In hopes of exemplifying this faith, I used a mix of gold and gold mixed colors to bring the image to life. The decay of colors was used to represent the stress that they are put through but still never the less power through and move forward with their faith in line.
