A doppelgänger is a being in fiction, folklore and pop culture who is an almost exact copy of another person. Usually, this personality nevertheless concerns an evil counterpart, symbolises evil or the sight of a doppelgänger is an omen of it.

This mixed media / collage artwork is made with layers of acrylic paint and magazine paper. Arranged over each other in such a way that a deeply layered whole is created.

The inspiration for this technique is the torn posters and peeling paint found on old city walls
