Artist's description:

This is a straight forward portrait of a woman with one eye hidden by the tilt of her hat and the work is whimsical, yet believable, Her hair is somewhat abstracted combining geometry with the human touch. It is somewhat influenced by the Mona Lisa, The image was generated by the memory of my mother, Dona Marie but looks only a little like her.
