The first time I met Didier, I thought he would be an exceptional model. Such a strong attitude, a character. He was actually working in a night pub. I proposed him to sit for a week end, he accepted.
What I love with this portrait is that I focused on painting honestly his face expression and I finally got a solid likeness.
