Question for the artist?

Artist's description:

Arches National Park in southern Utah is an incredible place. It's close to the tiny town of Moab. The rocks are breathtaking. Their enormity made me feel minuscule. I hiked up to the Delicate Arch, the famous arch depicted on Utah license plates. It's a wonderful arch, each rock balanced on another, worn town by time so that all the rocks fit together perfectly.

I drew the arch, transferred my drawing onto linoleum, cut it out and printed it in three colors. I experimented with the colors. The pink and green just seemed to make it more of an icon that it already is!

Materials used:

linoleum, oil-based ink, Italian Fabriano paper
