Acrylic painting of a rocky wall in the Lake District. After many afternoons of walking in the lakes, these moss covered walls, built with the local stone in irregular patterns drew my eye, more and more This abstract approach was created with blocky brushwork and a focus on pattern and colour, rather than realism.
The painting is ready to hang, without a frame, for a contemporary, casual look. A frame could be added for a more formal feel.
