  Artist's description:

  A simple still life with a bunch of home grown cornflowers in a glass jar. These are my favourite small flowers, oh yes I have lots of favourites but the colour of cornflowers are such a joy! It's a blue that is very nearly purple but not quite, lovely to mix in paint. Glass jars too are another favourite of mine. I just enjoy the challenge of painting it.
