Original artwork description:

Community Sail (30X30) is an upbeat full-of-movement abstract, a nod to the many sailing events we enjoy along the coast. There is, in fact, a sense of community among sailors, part of the harbor camaraderie as well as the friendly competition and company out on the waves. Completed with a generous application of high-textured oils, the composition offers repetition of direction and design to convey an active high-energy mood. With rims finished in black, the painting is ready to hang and/or frame.

Materials used:

oil paint, brush, palette knife, brush handle
