Suffused with the atmosphere of a warm summer's day, this artwork evokes the feeling of sitting peacefully in a dry, grassy field, edged by trees. An English landscape to bring the outside in.

Bold brushstrokes have been delicately layered to create this piece. Warm, sunny colours create light, and dark areas suggest the shadows cast by the abstract trees.
The blue sky above speaks of summer, with the yellow, sun dried grass of the field in the foreground, completing this depiction of an English summer's day.
