I love to look for meaning in the shadows that plants cast. Interpreting them in my own way, I live each image and paint as my heart sees it. I am not going to paint in the same way. Departing from the usual view of nature, I see flowers in the shadows of leaves and vice versa. My work is expressive but at the same time filled with love and serenity.

The inspiration for starting this work was the shade of a plant that lives in my studio. As I admired the beautiful shadows from the leaves, I imagined two flowers that were comfortable in the world and with each other.

My watercolours are the world I live in before I paint it.
