Original artwork description:

This is an original encaustic (beeswax) monotype on Japanese hemp paper with a white mat and matte black frame under fine art plexiglass. Metallic gold, silver and rose paint add shimmer to this flowing abstract landscape with a shagreen texture. This is a one-of-a-kind hand-pulled monotype, not a reproduction.

This artwork was selected for the “Paper/Work: Works on/of Paper” exhibition by Juror Dr. Abigail Yoder of the Saint Louis Art Museum. The show was held February 4 - March 4, 2018 at the Salmon Gallery, University of Alabama, Huntsville. A full colour catalogue was published for this show.
