Artist's description:

A mixed media work bringing old photography, painting and collage and text together to create a thought provoking and ethereal piece to ponder on.

Our relationship to animals is integral to our existence and our identity and so I have transposed the heads of a lioness and a lamb onto the two figures (perhaps a husband and wife) and introduced a buzzard, a wolf and a vulture to further lend an ambigous symbolic narrative to the piece, provoking thought and conversation as to the meaning. The words "We are living in a changing world right now" alludes to the challenges we face in our times but also to the human perception of change down the ages and perhaps highlights how we, as humans, feel forever in a state of flux?

It is presented in a plain mid grey frame and pale cream mount seen pictured in a "at home" context. I have signed it very discreetly on the front. It can be displayed free standing or hung on a wall.

The cost includes postage and packaging and every care will be taken to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.
