Sara refers to these etchings as 'negative' drawings, where the background of the image has been etched to hold the ink so that the appearance of light can be seen and felt to come through the chandelier. First drawn as a series of 6 different chandeliers, Sara dusted off her 3 favourite plates ahead of a commission for a hotel in Paris and printed a small edition of 21 of each of them in dark brown ink.
