Original artwork description:

" Cars and Coffins " was created during 1994 when I lived in London. I had just arrived and rented a studio in East London, but I lived in South London, so every day I caught the bus to my studio, constantly looking out the window.
The result of what I saw transferred into a series of plaster panels and the first of these being my " Cars and Coffins ".
Using casting sand, I would create an impression in the sand, then fill this with plaster, thus replicating the image --- a kind of archaeological find, a memory of times past.
I have never shown my series of plaster panels, until now, as I feel the message I was trying to evoke, will now be understood.

Began in 1994 / Until present
