Carbon Fibre
In the ancient Caledonian forest the trees are tall and lean like carbon fibre quills. This primeval forest is part of the wild Scottish landscape made of tall Scots pines, soft green mosses and sparkling streams. Deep in the forest all is dark and quiet until you come to sunny glades where the transition from dark to light is dazzling.
Printed on fine art canvas with white borders to match the image.
(Note: as this is black and white I can accommodate slight variations in the tone, that is I can print it in a neutral black and white or a slightly cooler tone or a soft very light warmer tone. If you have a preference please let me know otherwise I will keep it to the neutral shade. I have tried to demonstrate the various tones in the sample images but if you need more help to decide, just contact me).
Available in 30 x 45 inches and on paper or as a ChromaLuxe aluminium panel.
About My Work
I am passionate about using luxury papers/canvases that hold their colours for a lifetime! For these special large prints of my work I use beautiful museum quality Canvas and the highest quality inks. I do all my own printing, having spent years learning this skill I prefer to maintain control of the colour representation at all stages to ensure you get a truly handmade image.

A Note on Canvases
Canvases are unframed and unmounted, they need to be stretched or framed once you get them. They are varnished and come with 2 inch (5cm) border to allow for stretching round the frame. Once ready, they are carefully wrapped in acid free tissue then shipped in a sturdy art tube to ensure safe delivery.
