Created in special memory of my grandmother Rubinia - a remarkable woman who revelled in nature's beauty and held a special fondness for birds, particularly budgies. Her backyard sanctuary housed a multitude of these colourful creatures, creating a magical spectacle, especially through the eyes of a five-year-old like me. Inspired by her spirit, I've crafted a series of pieces as a tribute to her memory.
