Every painting in this series began as a collage of newspaper cuttings, from the November 30, 2015 issue of the New York Times, which was then painted in black, white and red brushstrokes to express the psychological weight of "breaking news", when "no news is good news". The newspaper collage was then mounted on canvas. This painting has been sealed with a satin varnish to protect it. Hanging hardware is included.
