Every painting in this series begins as a collage of cuttings from the New York Times. These particular pieces came from the November 30, 2015 issue, which was then painted in black, white and red brushstrokes to express the psychological weight of "breaking news". The collage was then mounted on canvas. This painting has been sealed with a satin varnish to protect it. Hanging hardware is included.
