Meet "Bowie" and yes, he was named after the iconic David Bowie. I met Bowie and his human on the subway in Toronto and I asked if I could take his picture. He was just the sweetest dog. "Bowie" is just one from an ongoing series of doggo paintings. I love dogs, they are my medicine and I look forward to hopefully one day soon adopt a couple of rescues who will rescue me right back.
The majority of the painting is done in acrylics and acrylic mediums along with Albrecht Durer watercolour pencils for long-lasting colour permanence. Done in an eco-friendly studio. Painting is signed in lower right-hand corner.
