I painted this 24x18'' oil on canvas in a wood near York. It's unframed to save on cost and commission, but looks fine as it is and ready to hang.
I am a plein-air painter - I paint outside, directly in front of the subject. This, I think, gives my work a vibrancy and life sadly lacking in much of studio painting.
