This painting emulates a woman who is a victim of a childhood no one should go through. The lack of a mouth is because it’s impossible for her as an adult to open her soul without invoking a fear so forceful and all encompassing it’s hard to imagine. Her beauty tainted in forever blue her kindness betrayed before it had a chance. Hence the name portrait of a tragic tale.
