Inspired by romantic longing and desire - the idea of being with someone that one can never be with, or someone loved and lost who may still be there in spirit form.

His hand are caressing her luxurious hair which flies up flame-like to cover the top of the canvas. These lovers are placed in front of a dark landscape.
