Original artwork description:

some years ago, we were on a flight from Bangkok to Phuket. We couldn't land until the night storm abated. Looking out of the window as we circled in a stacking pattern around the airport, I was gazing at the storm underneath us...it was terrifying and mesmerising in the crackling flashes of colour which I've never forgotten and hope I have captured as though I was now safe on the island of Phuket looking up at the amazing summer storm. Includes certificate of authenticity.

Materials used:

Windsor and newton oil paints with palette knife and horsehair brush application
