Original artwork description:

Sometimes we get inspired by things we see around us. A fan of the artist Quentin Blake, I'd seen an exhibition of his drawings. It was all still running around my head when I went to life group. The model had a fan and was in an unusual pose with legs up the back of a throw covered sofa. The result is a monochrome painting which is a cross between Blake and Gerald Scarfe's scratchiness!

Black watercolour on white paper 41 x 57.5 cm (c. 16 x 23 "). It will either be rolled for delivery (glassine inside to protect the drawing) or wrapped in glassine and sandwiched in cardboard depending on where it is being sent to.

Mounting/Mat Suggestion: An image is included of how the piece could look if float-mounted or put behind mountboard(s) [in the US known as mats] before framing.

Materials used:

watercolour, ink
