This black labrador is showing its true colours with greens, blues and magenta coming through the darks. I love dogs' eyes and I think these ones shows a good deal of trust!
Painted on Bockingford 200lb, it has been professionally framed in a silver moulding about 3cm wide. It is in a deep white acid free mount. It is quite a neutral presentation, which would hang in a traditional or modern setting. I apologise for the photo of the painting in situ - if I use a flash I get too many reflections, but without it the photo is rather dark and grainy...
As it is watercolour, it is under glass. No courier will insure for sending glass, so I will wrap it as carefully as possible, but should the worst happen with the glass (and touch wood, I've never had one break) I will not be able to claim. It should be hung away from direct sunlight and humidity as with all watercolours.
Any questions - please ask!
