The view from North Head across Rangitoto channel to volcanic Rangitoto Island, which is in the Hauraki Gulf, Auckland, New Zealand.
Rangitoto Island is an iconic view in Auckland and is seen from up and down the East Coast. The print is comprised of native Harekeke (NZ Native flax) in flower in the foreground, the stretch of blue water to Rangitoto Island and out beyond to the Hauraki Gulf.
The 2021 America's cup will be held in and around the Rangitoto Channel, the entrance to Auckland Harbour.
I have printed in both traditional colours and in a brighter version.
This is an 11 colour hand pulled silk screen print in A1 size. A limited edition of 74
