Living in Pembrokeshire, the coastal landscapes with azure blue sky, lush green meadows and changing colours of the sea synchronizing with that of the sky has started to dominate my current work.
My paintings originate with the Pembrokeshire landscapes and gradually transform into abstract. This collection has its origins within the coastal rock faces. What I express in my paintings are not always what I see but how I feel about what I see and experience. My goal is to create paintings that people wish to have in their daily lives and which bring them joy and happiness.
This is an original, large, hand painted abstract painting. I have used acrylic paint, sand, gravels, broken sea shells on box canvas for this painting. This piece has thick layers of paint in a variety of colours creating a lovely texture. The canvas is also painted on the deep edges. This is painted using quality, high pigmented and light-fast acrylics on a quality, deep edge, 100% cotton canvas. It is ready to hang in the place you have chosen.
